The school uses Chinese as the medium of instruction for Grades 1–6. As for Grades 7–12, English is used for the English Section and Chinese is used for the Chinese Section. In Grades 9–12, each level is streamed into 3 groups: the Arts class (Chinese class), the Science class and the Commerce class (both English classes). The school has joined the Macau government grant-in-aid school scheme. The students (Grades 1–12) do not have to pay school fees.

At the end of Grade 11, students sit for the IGCSE Examination taking 5–8 subjects and another 1–2 subjects at the AS/A levels. After Grade 12, the Arts class sit for the Taiwan University Entrance Exam, while the 2 English classes sit for the GCE (A Level) Exam. All sit for the ‘Joint Admission Examination for Macao Four Higher Education Institutions’. Students also have access to universities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and foreign countries.

We believe in the integral formation of a person so extracurricular activities are of utmost importance. Our goal is to form wholesome citizens and good Catholics. We emphasize the family spirit and we use the Salesian founder St. John Bosco’s Preventive System in our educational approach. This system demands educators to educate with Reason, Loving-Kindness and Religion.
